I’ve been enjoying a classic push/pull/legs training Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

I still go to the gym Wednesdays and Saturdays for core, treadmill and some stretching.

Ive been doing Legs, Back/shoulders, Arms, Chest/shoulders repeat for almost 2 years now. I have done that with no rest days for over a month but now just take days off as needed. I like being able to hit the gym daily and now that Im really just in maintaining its good for me. I will probably switch it up this summer where I hit the majors once a week and then do cardio the other days

I’ve tried a lot of different splits but the most recent was Scott Stevenson’s Fortitude training .  In and out of the gym pretty quick with great results

Mon ….heavy legs  /upper body pump

tues ….heavy upper body / lower pump

Thur…. leg pump

fri….. upper pump

thats the basic of it but you hit a body part 3 times a week

I’ve seen Fortitude on other forums several times, but for some reason never tried it.

May become my choice next time I decide to switch things up.

Lately I’ve been doing A/B/Rest/C/Rest/D/Rest. 20min cardio on the weight days and 1hour on the rest days.

I try to keep the lifting sessions as intense as I can, lots of compound movements, and the cardio really helps with recovery and controlling body fat.
