L-beta aminobutryic acid(L-BAIBA) has been on the market for a little while now, so I wanted to give a little breakdown. L-BAIBA is induced during exercise from muscle cells and its main focus is to turn white adipose tissue(WAT, fat storing) into brown adipose tissue(BAT, which is energy expending). These are known as myokines. During exercise, it has been shown to turn on fat-releasing pathways and may help burn stubborn body fat. Until recently, it was not very stable as a powder and a mixture of D and L-BAIBA. @nnbnutrition has isolated a stable form of L-BAIBA, which has been popular in certain products. It is also know to increase ketone bodies and increase insulin sensitivity. Some research suggests it helps with mitochondria biogenesis and function, remember the mitochondria is the “powerhouse of the cell” via activation of the enzyme PGC-1alpha(also only found in muscle tissue). PGC-1alpha then activated PPARa, which is responsible for the exercise-induced fat burning. Doses range from 250mg-1500mg, sometimes split up. I am about to experiment with MitoBurn for the next 30 days at 1500mg preworkout on an empty stomach and see if it can actually help with fat loss. I would like to thank @shawnwells and the NNB team for the sample. I will keep everyone posted on the progress and see how I like it. I LOVE trying new ingredients and am excited to try this little experiment on myself(which I do with every product I ever make). Lots of big things coming from @chemixlifestyle in 2024! I have a lot of ideas for innovative products to help everyone.
