HIP WARM UP VARIATIONS
.
๐ Reduce the risk of injury with a proper warm up for leg day. The primary goal of this series is to reduce stiffness, awaken motor units, and increase the temperature of the joints and muscles used during the leg day.
.
โ You will need a resistance band to perform the exercises in this series.
.
๐Hip ER/IR – Place the loop band directly above the knee joint, move through internal and external rotation of the hip.
.
๐Monster Walks – place the band directly above the knee joint and take diagonal steps forward, this is one of the many variations of the monster walk and can also be done in reverse.
.
๐ Rockback – In quadruple position, rock back and forth with the hips.
