Whey protein is one of the most researched supplements and has plenty of literature supporting its use. However, a decent number of individuals may have digestion issues with whey which makes it mostly useless in their supplement stack. If you’re one of these individuals, egg protein is likely going to be your next best bet. Egg protein has a high leucine content, is typically very bioavailable, and also has a high digestibility rating. All of these items add up to egg protein being a great choice for a protein supplement.
