Do you find it difficult to feel your hamstrings during the Romanian Deadlift? A common mistake is bending your knees forward as you perform the Romanian Deadlift.

This places more pressure on your lower back and takes away the resistance from the hamstrings. Instead aim to keep your legs mostly extended and focus on pushing your hips back.

Also, don’t lower yourself too far on the Romanian Deadlift. Another common mistake is trying to bring the bar all the way down toward your ankles, causing your lower back to round.

But once the barbell is slightly below the knees, the hamstrings will be stretched well and you can contract back up!
