Bodybuilding results take time⭕️

Thinking long term is a skill.

In an era driven by instant-gratification, it’s easy to fall for anything that promises faster results. “You’re not growing because you’re not doing it this way”….

Whether it’s an exercise you weren’t doing, or supplements you weren’t using, many can be the ways to trick yourself into believing that you’re not doing “enough”.

Add to that the comparison of your results to the ones you see of other people on social media, and you have a recipe for frustration.

Blame it on genetics? Blame it on your work-ethic? While these could very well be reason that may hinder your progress… in many cases, it’s probably the fact that you haven’t spent enough time in the game, thinking it would take much less to get there.

Bodybuilding is long term, not short term. It’s a lifestyle. And even if you’re doing everything right, and putting as much effort as you can, the process of muscle building will still take time. And that does not imply that you’re not doing things right. In fact you may very well be.

You see, you’ll probably never actually be satisfied in this “sport”, because there’ll always be something you can do to “make it better”. But at least you’ll acknowledge your work over the years, which is what brings a lot of joy. It’s an accomplishment!

Of course there are rules that can improve your results, but nothing will top off sticking to the plan for a long time, through consistency.

That is, what in the end, when looking back, will make you proud of your results. Whatever they may be at the time!
