I regularly receive messages from people who are frustrated with their fat loss progress.
.
Oftentimes all is well and they are getting closer to their goals, but there simply is a lack of patience.

Small progress adds up to big progress over time if you stay consistent. Just because you may not be able to see fat loss occur from a day-to-day or even week-to-week basis, does not necessarily mean that you need to start making drastic changes.
–
In fact, trying to make drastic changes when it’s not necessary can do more harm than good, as it can make it harder for you to sustain your diet and/or training.
–
There are obviously exceptions in which changes to your approach are necessary, but my point is that we should try to not be quick to judge. If you are getting stronger in the gym and your average body weight is dropping on a weekly basis, you oftentimes just need to be more patient.
