Aromasin works quite similarly the way Arimidex does. They are both classed as suicide inhibitors and both are extremely potent in reducing estrogen levels in the body in a very quick time frame.

Aromasin, much like Arimidex, works by blocking the aromatase enzyme, which stops the production of estrogen in the body. It was designed to work like this as breast cancer cells are stimulated by estrogen in the body, and it is a medication for breast cancer.

Aromasin is a great option when on cycle to help manage and quickly stop side-effects caused by excess estrogen build up in the body. It can benefit blood pressure and more by reducing the amount of water weight.

Nolvadex is a SERM and only blocks the attachment of estrogen to the tissue it does nothing to reduce the levels of estrogen in the body.

When on cycle, it is easy not bloat up with water-weight and not realise how much of an impact that added weight can be having on your cardiovascular system, as well as heightening your chance of more severe side effects.

As well as being incredible at reducing the levels of estrogen in the body Aromasin has also been known to be able to stimulate the production of natural testosterone in men.

In PCT the idea is to start ramping up the testes to increase the levels of your own natural testosterone. Once on cycle, the levels of testosterone being produced by your own body will gradually start to reduce.

It can be used as a part of a PCT, yet it would need to be used at its lowest dose. For most, during PCT your hormone levels are beginning to level out and find homeostasis, again, the last thing you want to do is fully suppress your estrogen and crash.

Most people will prefer to run Aromasin on cycle and Nolvadex as a part of PCT.

Side Effects of Aromasin
It does come with some side effects, a few more notable than others. This, at the end of the day, is a cancer treatment drug.

The most common sides are hot flashes, joint pain, fatigue, changes in mood and behaviour, depression and changes in blood pressure. It should be noted that it is quite rare to experience these side effects.

It has also been noted that using an aromatase inhibitor like Aromasin could reduce bone mineral density and lead to osteoporosis in certain individuals.

For users with high cholesterol or who are at risk of cardiovascular disease, it can cause adverse changes to the levels of HDL and LDL. When using steroids these levels are already at risk and it is possible for Aromasin to increase the shift of good cholesterol to bad even further.
