Fat loss sucks, we all know that, and sometimes it’s ever worse when you give so much effort to lean your legs out, yet all you get is an even smaller (but perhaps “sharper” looking ?) upper body… Can the ladies relate ?
Well, sure, it’s completely normal to be this way for a variety of reasons, and I want to make clear that eventually even lower body adipose tissue “comes off”… but it takes more time.
One of the reasons why lower body adipose tissue is “more stubborn” is because these areas have poorer blood flow. To “lose” the fat, we need to pull it out of the fat cells first, and then mobilize it to the bloodstream so that it can be oxidized.
“Stubborn areas” such as legs, glutes, but even lower belly and love handles struggle to lean out fast exactly for this reason…and others.
