A common misconception is that eating dietary cholesterol has impact on blood cholesterol. Moreover, that is why for a few decades everyone has this set in stone that whole eggs are bad for you.

The truth is that our bodies regulate the levels of cholesterol from the intake and produce less if more has been provided. Actually dietary cholesterol is very much needed in our bodies and provides us with hormonal functions that are necessary.

Nearly half of the protein and most of the vitamins and minerals are contained in the yolk so do not skip the yolk altogether!

There ARE some cases to where if an individual has diabetes then it make affect them differently but for the normal average human being it is not the case.

More recent, higher-quality studies have shown that cholesterol in the diet is not associated with an increased risk of heart disease [1], [2]

BOTTOM LINE:

Dietary cholesterol has no link with the risk of heart disease. High-cholesterol foods like eggs have been shown to be safe and healthy.

At the end of the day, both of these are great to incorporate into our diets and you should not need to eliminate eating whole eggs from your everyday dieting habits.

Exactly they are natural! Anything natural is good for you. If it’s processed (man made) its junk!
