Studies show that people make the greatest gains on the exercises that they perform at the beginning of their workout. This is likely due to the fact that, as a workout progresses, fatigue accumulates – both in the muscle and in the CNS. Therefore, the more fatigued you become, the less effective your training gets. With this in mind, always start your workouts with YOUR most important exercises to support YOUR goals.
