Many bodybuilders are often weary of skipping a workout or two with the concern that they might lose muscle in the process. However, this study found that trained individuals retained lean body mass throughout a 2-week detraining period. AKA – you could skip 2-weeks worth of workouts and probably won’t lose a significant amount of muscle mass, especially if you maintain a decent protein intake. Don’t be afraid to occasionally prioritize life experiences over working out!

Good point.
I see guys who only lift and take gear to look good on the beach who’ll skip trips or weekends with family because they need to go to the gym or keep a strict diet and meal prep.
Doesn’t really make any sense. You can look great training 45 minutes 4 x a week and eating relatively clean.
