Small Progress is still progress.

Oftentimes, all is well and they are getting closer to their goals, but there simply is a lack of patience. Small progress adds up to great progress over time if you stay consistent.

Just because you may not be able to see fat loss occur from a day-to-day or even week-to-week basis, does not necessarily mean that you need to start making drastic changes. In fact, trying to make drastic changes to your approach when it’s not necessary can do more harm than good. Taking on a more extreme diet/training regimen for faster fat loss usually also makes it harder to sustain your efforts.

So try not to be quick to judge. If you are getting stronger in the gym and your average body weight/measurements are dropping on a weekly basis (even if it’s slow), you oftentimes just need to be more patient.

Now, there are of course exceptions. If you have been doing your best for months and are not making any progress, your approach can use some improvements.
