Skullcrushers Form 101

If you want to get the most out of your Dumbbell Skullcrushers, avoid bringing the dumbbells too far forward!

Keep your elbows slightly back so that you maintain constant resistance on the triceps throughout the movement.

Because when you come forward like this, the resistance is now shifted away from the triceps onto your shoulders.
