It’s never too late to start.

This is a powerful message that I hope you guys will appreciate. Not the conventional post you’re used to get, but I feel like as a coach it’s important to acknowledge the mental struggles we can face through our journey of change and how many times, it’s literally our self-limiting beliefs and labels that we’ve attached to ourselves that we have to battle the most, to keep pushing forward.

Of course I’m applying these concepts in a fitness-related context, on what could seem like an “unachievable goal” for many, but in reality, it goes on a much deeper level.

“I can’t do it.” “Yeah, I’ve always been like this, I can’t change.” “I’ll always stay the same.” “I can’t lose fat because I’ve always been this way.” “Who cares anyway..”

These beliefs and assumptions of what we can do force us to box ourselves in what’s a comfortable reality to us. Whether it’s a painful one or not.

Try for once. Believe that you can do it, and try to open yourselve to the possibility of change, optimistically, to help yourself break the loop of negative thoughts and self-limiting beliefs that you may get stuck within, and finally make a step in the right direction. You’re in control of what your next action is going to be, your destiny is not predetermined… so take a chance and do it!

I hope this post can provide some motivation and make at least some of you reflect on your goals!
